Joe Babiarz

Medical Director/Vitality

Joseph Babiarz is a board-certified urologist with subspecialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). He attended medical school at the University of Michigan and completed a residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He trained in a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine at the University of California at Los Angeles. He currently practices in general urology and specializes in robotic kidney surgery, female pelvic reconstruction and optimization of women’s and men’s health and performance. He has become passionately interested in long term health maximization. He has 3 beautiful children and is an avid downhill skier, crossfit competitor, mountain biker and lover of the outdoors. He is currently learning to sail and kiteboard. His credo is “there are no ordinary moments.”

Ben Herdrich

Medical Director/Eleve

Dr. Benjamin J. Herdrich of Surgical Associates serves as the medical director for Elevé MedSpa. Dr. Herdrich completed his fellowship in Vascular Surgery in 2013 prior to starting with Surgical Associates. Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Herdrich specializes in general surgery and vascular surgery and provides outreach services in Wisconsin Rapids, Rhinelander, and Iron River. He enjoys the many outdoor activities that northern Wisconsin has to offer with his wife and two daughters.

Ellie Reineck

Director of Patient Experience

As a marketing professional dedicated to making a difference, Ellie is committed to trying, winning, failing and always learning. Her career began in Broadcast Journalism, where she practiced the art of storytelling–in 10 seconds or less. She didn't realize it at the time, but this would be the hardest sales job of her life! After six years of reporting and anchoring the news in a small market station in North Central Wisconsin, she moved on to new challenges. Ellie joined River Valley Bank in 2006 in a junior Marketing role. Four years later, she earned the position as Marketing and Public Relations Director with a focus on customer awareness, commitment to community and corporate giving. In this role, her greatest strengths and impact came when her passion for Marketing and Cause collided. In 2017 in the aftermath of a deadly shooting, Ellie spearheaded a community match program with local media partners that raised more than $350,000 for those who lost loved ones in the tragedy. In 2019, she lead the brand transition for River Valley Bank to IncredibleBank taking the community brand national. Today, Ellie’s focus is on making a major “personal brand” transformation by transitioning from the financial industry to healthcare as Director of Patient Experience for Surgical Associates and the Manager of Eleve MedSpa. She capitalizes on her background for storytelling, creating positive connections and customer experiences to a passion for patient care and holistic wellness.
